                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF OAK STREET ON
                   SUNDAY, AUGUST 29, 1993, FROM 12:00 NOON TO
                   12:00 MIDNIGHT FOR THE "FORTWOOD BLOCK
                   PARTY," UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Oak Street from Palmetto Street to Fortwood
       Place on Sunday, August 29, 1993, from 12:00 Noon to 12:00
       Midnight for the "Fortwood Block Party" provided that the 
sponsors
       shall set out and pick up all traffic control signs and cones in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide, at all times, an access lane for emergency and
       residents' vehicles.
